Some light hearted fun with old hard drives

Hard disk drive capacity is doubling nearly every year. I've bought many hard drive upgrades and realized that when compared with the new drive, my old drive was so small it was practically worthless. The following video shows one unique idea on what to do with old hard drives.

If you're getting rid of your old hard drive, be sure to completely wipe the disk of all personal data. You don't want to leave any personal data behind that might allow a thief to steal your identity.

Wiping a disk is much more than merely deleting files or formatting the hard drive. To securely delete data from a disk requires a program that overwrites your old data with a random pattern at least three times.
